Satvayur Extracts Limited is a manufacturer and supplier of extracts (oils, oleoresins, fragrances, colours, etc.) from natural products used in a variety of applications.

Satvayur specialises in extractions like oils, oleoresins, natural colours, flavours and fragrances from herbs, spices, flowers especially those used in the health, pharmaceutical, foods and cosmetics industry.

The extracts are 100% pure, manufactured by the universally acclaimed “Super-critical fluid extraction (SCFE)” process which ensures that no harmful chemicals or chemical residues are present in the extract.

The company was established as a 100% Export Oriented Unit (EOU) in 1997 under the name of Indo Global Spices Limited (IGSL). In June 2010, a new board of directors and management team has taken a controlling stake in the company. They bring in combined expertise in the areas of Strategy, People and Process Management, Finance, Marketing and International Business.

Satvayur's manufacturing set-up is ideally located in the southern part of India, which has been the land of spices for centuries and has vast herbal plantations.

Satvayur has pilot plants and a main plant with SCFE CO2 extraction capability of running up to 500 bar critical pressure, located at Chikkaballapur (20 km from Bengaluru International Airport ).

SCFE is a Green technology and is very environmentally friendly and fully meets all Proposition 65 requirements. CO2 is certified as GRAS (Generally Regarded as Safe) as per US FDA.

The plant is based on technology from USA and is a best of breed fully automated PLC plant.
